About the principle investgator (PI)

Leung Tsz Fai (Max)

l grew up in Hong Kong and obtained my BSc(Chem) degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Under the supervision of Prof. Guochen Jia in the same university, I obtained PhD degree on the study of chemistry of complexes containing tungsten (W) carbon multiple bonds.

In 2018, I moved to Taiwan as a postdoc in the group of Prof. Tiow-gan Ong's Lab. at Academia Sinica and worked on synthesis and reactivities study of phosphine-stabilized dicarbon. 

In 2022, I joined Viktoria H. Gessner's group at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany for the study of reactivity of metallated ylides.
